Patty Patty

I was just helping Sienna make a 'Patty Patty' out of felt, paper and cardboard. A Patty Patty is actually a 'Crabby Patty', a la Spongebob Squarepants. Sienna has funny ways of saying things sometimes, it's very cute. Anyhow, now she insists on having paste to stick the layers together - there are two buns (raw cardboard), a crabby patty (pink felt), pickles (green patterned paper), cheese (yellow card), sauce (red felt) and lettuce (green felt). Very appetizing, I can assure you ;)

So this is my card for week 9's Deck of Me. The prompt was "what is inspiring you", and I made my card about music, or more specifically, song lyrics. I am always listening to music, and find myself singling out lines of songs for future scrap pages or projects. I have a list of 'lines' in my head that I'm yet to use, and it makes me want to create in order to connect those thoughts and feelings with a photo etc. It's the relationship between a thought / quote / lyric, style and subject that I think communicates the feeling I have about someone or something.

Hmm really not that interesting.

This my 92nd blog post, so am thinking of giving something away for my 100th post. Not sure what yet - an artwork, scrap page, something.

Nice card!! Haven't seen anybody use music as an inspiration, but I sure know what you mean!

It amazes me how quickly my mood can change depending on the song I am listening to. Great thought & card...
