Unicycle Design

When friends, and previous clients, Tatum, Lauren and their sister Jess asked me to design for their new venture, I was thrilled! This is the first reveal... the logo for Unicycle design, which grew from an embroidered unicycle that Lauren made. I echoed the spokes and played with colour to create an earthy but funky vibe...

Unicycle Design have been launched on Facebook, with a website, blog and shop to be revealed soon!

This boy

He's cute ;) Also, he is happily walking now. Still unsteady, but it's really only been a couple of days that he has been happy about walking, choosing walking over crawling and actually walking more than 6 or 7 steps without holding on to anything. Yay!

A customer just arrived this morning to pick up their custom order - one of my "berries in snow" photographs on a 70x100cm canvas! I have a new canvas supplier and am really excited about the quality of the linen, frame and they come all ready to hang too :)

My customer was very happy and might order a second canvas - and I am inspired by this new foray into the decorator market for photography. Hmm possibilities...

Pirates of the Caribbean tonight, after a very fun Neverland themed party today (after a busy week of preparing for it!) - more on that later :)

Lou and Jess

A Sunday afternoon in Norwood, the fabulous Louise Nelson and her friend Jess, a park, some rustic buildings, a lot of fun and some favourite shots from the session!

Meet Kevin

I met Kevin this morning at the Tecoma Community Garden. He was moving old railway sleepers around the garden and doing some sort of construction. He stopped to have a chat with Dianne and I, while his kettle boiled on top of a gas cylinder in an old tin behind him...

I was photographing the garden and plots for Grassroots, and was supposed to be photographing the produce, but I couldn't resist snapping a few shots of Kevin too. Here is the first shot of the vegies, though, a couple of pea pods.

Our family, jinky style...

Check us out! I'm loving it. Now for the decision-making. Tricky!

Scrappity scrapbooking

Scrapbook Creations issue 85 colour team layout...I've also used this colour combo as the fortnightly challenge on Scrapboxx, so if you're game head over there and join in :)

And, speaking of the Boxx, this is the January Off the Page kit I designed... intended to be a "prepare in advance" mini album to be filled in with photos, information and memorabilia as the school year progresses. Very cute range  of October Afternoon papers and stickers, with a Scenic Route graph circle album and Jenni Bowlin chalkboard alphabet stickers. Cheery!
